March is World PVNH Awareness Month.
It was created in 2014, two years after World PVNH Day – August 7 – was created to bring support those those impacted by Periventricular Nodular Heterotopia (PVNH), Grey Matter Heterotopia (GMH) and Subcortical Band Heterotopia (SBH)
The awareness colours of World PVNH are purple in support of those affected by epilepsy, the common symptom, green, for hope, and pink in memory of Ella.
