Joanna: 37 years old
Location: USA
Symptoms:
– Unilateral periventricular heterotopia at right frontal horn.
– Cavum septum pellucidum
– Mild enlargement of cisterna magna,
– Mild joint laxity
– Mitral valve prolapse
– Insufficiency in all 4 heart valves, and an atrial septal aneurysm with patent foramen ovale.
– Joanna has no seizures.
– There appears to be other familial links to PVNH in Joanna’s extended family: 2 additional cases of PVNH confirmed via MRI and 2 other suspected cases have been reported.
Diagnosis: Unilateral periventricular heterotopia at right frontal horn, ADD and depression.
