MEET FINLEY, 13 – UNITED KINGDOM

Finley is a lively teenager who leaves an impression on all who meet him!

He has always loved books but his latest love is teaching himself Spanish.

He has some struggles too, his left side is weaker and he finds close friendships difficult.

Therapies have really helped him over the years and he is still attends weekly sessions.

As his Mum I feel the most important thing I have learnt is to be the best advocate for him that I can.

For me this has meant learning all I can about his condition, therapies that I’d never even heard of and more recently the law around disability and special educational needs.

I’ve also learnt to never underestimate Fin, he never stops amazing me!
